Our Story

Ewing Bass Garage & Transmission was set up in 1955 by Ewing Bass as a repair shop. Over the years, it has grown into a complete auto repair, maintenance and transmission services center. In 1998, Ewing Bass Garage & Transmission expanded their repertoire of services to cover transmission service.

We are a family owned and operated business. Our technicians know that every automobile comes with its unique set of mechanisms. You can rely on us for professional service with individualized attention. In our effort to provide cost-effective service to our customers, we use only quality parts that are available at a fair price. This helps us maintain the standards set by the manufacturers.

Wayne Bass, the present owner of the motor garage, joined as an employee in 1968 and took over as manager in 1991.

In 1999, Rachel started her journey at Ewing Bass Garage & Transmission as a summer employee and was promoted to full-time employee in 2005.
